I kinda like this list. Carlos Martinez is too high for my taste, but obviously Keith Law likes him as a prospect and there's nothing wrong with this. Post a top 50, get criticized. Just kinda the way these things work.
Dare I say I like this better than Callis's? I'm personally waiting for mwashuc to do his midseason list if he even will, because I like the last list he put out more than Law's or Callis's.

Miguel Sano
Analysis: This 18-year-old projects as an impact bat at first base or in left field, with big raw power. Weird stat quirk: He's a right-handed hitter, but has a reverse split in 2011, hitting .311/.368/.607 against right-handed pitchers in 21 games for rookie-level Elizabethton. Preseason Ranking: 29

Analysis: Going pro may have been the best decision of Cole's life, as he's been more focused and aggressive and is commanding the fastball better than he did in high school. Since his first two starts, he has posted the following line for low-A Hagerstown: 39 1/3 IP, 34 H, 6 BB, 50 K, 2.75 ERA. Preseason Ranking: NR

I didn't realize he was doing this well. Still have a Red Status auto if anyone is interested..ballerskrip said:frzg said:tm decomposer said:Can someone post the analysis on A.J. Cole?

It's safe to say he likes to display shock value.

Someone needs to introduce Keith Law to Robbie Erlin. Not even mentioned in the couple of names of guys that just missed the list. Just to compare, he lists Wily Peralta as honorable mentions, but not Erlin. That seems rather crazy.
