tex was great while he was here and he has an excellent track record, so i would be hesitant to slap that label on kendry. he's younger, cheaper and a homegrown talent, so i think the angels went in the right direction.

Why is his 2006 stuff so hot, when he has certified autos in 2005? ( the whole chrome is king crap?)

Picked this up recently in a trade, along with his 05 SPA RC Auto.

05 UD Update, his most short printed RC Auto. I opened two cases of this stuff and didn't pull a single UD Update Auto. Very condition sensitive set too.

I only need his 05 SPX RC auto now.

Why is his 2006 stuff so hot, when he has certified autos in 2005? ( the whole chrome is king crap?)

the rc rules which were imposed in 2006 could have something to do with it (see crosby87's mccutchen thread). i have some of kendry's stuff from 2005 ud rookie upd but imo, these should be his only true rc's as they were the only ones actually released in 2005.

i paid $100 dlvd for the gold redemption thinking it would be the best parallel of his only rookie card then upper deck decided to release ud rc upd well into 2006 ::facepalm:: add to that the fact that they exhausted all of their stickers on the upd product and nearly didn't fulfill my redemption. they said they would rather make me wait longer than issue more redemptions

What about 2005 Sp, Spx and Ultimate though?

i've got em all but they all came out well into 06...sp auth and spx were part of the rc upd. i believe they were released in feb of 06
