Yahoo sports is reporting that the Cavs and Wolves agreed to a trade to send Kevin Love to the Cavs and that he will resign with them after the 2015 season.

Now...does anyone care? Haha

And in case you were wondering, the Wolves get Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett, and a protected 2015 first round pick

Whatever. I think the NBA is a farce the way players just get their own All Star teams together.

If you're a fan of any Eastern Conference team, you should care.

This "Big 3" is better than the Miami "Big 3" was IMO. And I'm a big Wade fan since College.

Plus, the Cavs still has some roster flexibility to improve, especially on defense. And more room to add pieces the next two years

I think the only hope for other teams is that the new, untested in the NBA, Coach screws it up and the team falls apart. But then, he's easy to replace quickly if need be....

I was never really a huge fan of Kevin Love, even though he has been on my team. I honestly feel that he is overrated as an NBA superstar. Yeah he put up huge numbers, but that led the team nowhere. People like to compare him leaving to Kevin Garnett leaving, but that was 2 totally separate situations. Garnett had led the team to the playoffs for years, just hadn't gotten over the hump to win a championship. Love couldn't even bring the team to .500 basketball. His fault or not, usually a superstar is able to lead his team to the playoffs, with less than what the Timberwolves have had the previous 2 seasons.

With all of that being said, the way Love has handled the situation has made him one of my least favorite NBA players along with Dwight Howard and Carmelo Anthony. When players force trades to only certain teams and leave the previous team handcuffed I find it pretty pathetic. Keep your mouth shut until you are a FA and play hard every night. It puts me in a tough spot because I am a huge LeBron fan and want to see him win many NBA Championships, but I do not want Love to win any with him.

If there are any Cleveland fans here that are interested in a couple Kevin Love 8x10 autos, shoot me a PM.

With today's updated announcement that the trade is now officially a three team trade involving Philly, IMO the Wolves absolutely killed it in this trade.

The Wolves get Wiggins, Bennett AND Young. It was originally thought that the Wolves would have to give up Bennett to get Young, that is not the case. The Wolves are giving up the Miami first rounder, along with Shved and Luc MAM to get Young. That is a freaking steal right there. AND they Wolves get a $4 million exception to sign a free agent without a cap hit.

This is overall a huge win for the Wolves for a player that was going to leave after this year anyways. Nice job Flip!!!

Yeah it's not too bad for Min as long as Wiggins can produce within 2 years. I think Bennett will be improved over last as well. Like you said for a guy who probably wasn't going to get you to the playoffs this year and wouldn't be there next year , it was a smart trade. I also think the Cavs made the right move to go hard now over the next few years with what they have assembled though I think they are a lil aged and possibly injury prone with the supporting crew. The 76ers , well , good luck to them

Unfortunately the Wolves are in rebuilding mode yet again, but adding in these three pieces, on top of:
Rubio
Lavine
Pekovic
Martin
Dieng
Muhammad
Brewer

Thats a solid young core to develop together AND hopefully get this team back to the playoffs in 2-3 years.
Yeah I know its a stretch, but wasnt going to happen with Love and the above mentioned, so might as well start over again and hope for the best.

GREAT deal for the Wolves, 'cuz there was NO way Love was gonna re-sign. And Thad Young is a heckuva support player.

And two more expiring contracts and another future Pick for Philly. Their "wait 'til next year" plan is becoming laughable!
