...but did anyone even notice?
the city of Kansas City has a beautiful new arena the Sprint Center which hosted it's second NHL preseason game last night between the Kings and the Islanders but the game only drew 9,792 fans. KC was one of the cities the Penguins were looking at to relocate to when they were trying to get an arena deal done with the city of Pittsburgh. Islanders owner Charles **** has said KC is one of the options for the Isles if they don't get approval for their proposed $3.8 billion development project that would include renovating the Nassau Coliseum by October 3rd. I don't understand why a team would move to KC if they can't draw more then 9,792 fans for a game?
