I'll never for get the Bears/Cols game this past season, the girl wasn't looking and her boyfriend grabs her and licks her face, it was pretty funny.

True story, I was on the kiss cam once. It was at the Indianapolis Indians baseball field and I was on a first date with a girl. I was watching the screen when it showed a picture of a dude in an Orioles hat. I had the thought, how strange is it that someone else here has on a 1966 replica Orioles hat. Well that dude was me! I literally froze like a deer in headlights. She however was on it and took control. That was a great night . At that game Ryan Doumit hit a home run, and we started saying the phrase "God Doumit" to replace swearing. And that is the story of why I collect Doumit cards.

Two years of bliss, and then a break up that emotionally crippled me for years. Really it was about two years after the break up, and I was about six months back in the hobby, and had absolutely no direction or focus as to what I was buying or collecting. Was opening a box of 06 Upper Deck Special F/X (see no direction) and happened to hit a red card that was serial numbered 1/50 so I paused to look at the card, and it was none other than Doumit. I smiled as it brought back the memories of that day, since I had only been focusing on the negatives I hadn't thought of that day in forever. Mass amounts of money spent on a player that will never have any monetary value (purely sentimental for me) and four years later, and I can more than likely say that I have the best (if not the only) Doumit collection on the planet.

I now have a beautiful baby girl who means the world to me. If nothing else every time I pick up a new Doumit card it reminds me that everything happens for a reason, to always dwell on the positives, and don't freeze up when the kiss cam turns to you!

Man, not sure why I just shared that, but enough of my sob story, and let's continue with kiss cam hyjinks.
