Ronald Acuna Jr. remains on the ground after seemingly injuring his knee or ankle while crossing first base with an infield single.

On the positive side, he did manage to walk back to the dugout under his own power.

He actually avoided what could have been a potentially significant left leg injury.

He's receiving an MRI today but may not know the results until Monday.

Hopefully it's just a day-to-day injury. Possibly a 10 day DL stint at worst.

I don’t think he tore anything but it’s going to be sore and they will dL him. Sucks because I’ve never seen him play and have doubleheader tickets tomorrow.

The Braves announced Acuna has mild ACL sprain in his left knee and a lower back contusion. He'll go on the 10-day DL and be re-evaluated after this period.
