Anyone notice how high Kobe refractors have been lately? A late nineties (I think 98) ended at $60 tonight, I've also seen the 2008 go in the $30's recently. Since I can't really afford Kobe autos I've collected a few refractors. I've always been able to pick them up for under $10. Even as early as a couple of weeks ago, I was able to pick up a 2000 for $10 shipped, it's on ebay now.

Is there any reason for this swing in pricing? I'm reluctant to part with my refractors since it's pretty much all of the Kobe cards I own however if this stays up I might have to sell.

Also, where do you guys think the ceiling is? Jordan refractors hang out around $60 right? Think that's feasible?

Guess not. The 99-00 refractor I sold tonight only went for $7.50, I guess the auctions I watched were flukes or something.

Overall, I still think Kobe refractors should be a pretty solid investment.
