Kris Johnson is surging, soon to be stud or a mirage?

I have thought highly of this guy for two years now, and recently have sold off some of his stuff....

I just checked his stats in Pawtucket

Saw him last year when Portland played Trenton. I met him and got his auto on two cards, but he pitched very well and I think he will do just fine. Sept. call-up possibly?

Nice! I've got a bunch a bunch of his stuff in a box somewhere. I'm a fan but it had seemed like with all the pitching in Boston's system I was afraid he'd be destined as a reliever unless he could really turn it on. I hope this is this the year he separates himself from the pack. Or...throws together a few more good starts and I can dump what I've been holding ha.

I've got some things that I would consider moving right now, because I truthfully don't think he is going to end up with Boston. If he pitches well enough, he could be potential tradebait.

He is just so far down the order of potential starters for the Redsox that I would expect him to be a RP or become tradebait if he continues to pitch well

If i recall, last year he'd string a few good starts together, then get bombed in an inning and theyd take him out. He had more good starts than bad though. Sounds like a great situational reliever bah.

From everything I have read on him it seems he is destined to be a reliever but who knows. All the scouts said he never regained pre-TJ surgery stuff.

At one point I owned about 50 Sterling, 25 Chromes, and a bunch of parallel's from both including 3 gold ref's. I kept a few things once I hit my break even number but sold the rest off in late 2007.

His base chrome bottomed out throughout the past offseason at $1 bids + shipping so I picked up a few at those prices, I even picked up a chrome refractor /500 for $5 shipped.

My only card is an xfractor with a terrible vertical xfractor line, lol. Picked it up for about 12 dlvd so i dont have too much into him.
