My best friend covers the Ft. Myers Miracle for the local paper, and he told me that Gibson has been promoted. Glad I got to see him pitch a few times while he was down here!

And WELL needed, as the Cats pitching this year has been DREADFUL.
Odd that they waited a day to announce this, as the Allen call up was announced yesterday in conjunction with the DeVries and Deolis promotions...

Yes, this would put him in New Britain

nice...i'll catch him in Trenton in July, if he is still in AA.

I would say he will still be in AA by then. Someone may correct me, but the Twins don't usually fast track pitchers. (or anyone for that matter....hell, we had Mauer in CT for almost 50 games, Morneau was here 1+ year, Cuddy almost two full years......and of course 6 years of Matt Moses :-) )

While I'm excited for Gibson to get promoted...he's now on a team that wont give him any run support.
New Britain is 2nd to last (only 1 run difference compared to last place team) in Eastern league batting.

Could not agree more, as they are flloundering in that category as well. I look at the roster and STILL cant figure out how they can't score runs.

Good to see. Don't have a stash, but do have a couple nice IP autos from TwinsFest.

Titus 3:4-7 (New International Version)

(4) But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, (5) he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, (6) whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, (7) so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.

I had no idea there were so many other fans of Gibson. I used to have the best collection of his without a doubt. All I have left is a few USA cards, I only got rid of them because I'm not really interesting in cards much anymore, I originally bought him for PC purposes since he went to Mizzou.

I'll never forget when how I got the green auto of his though. JP was breaking a case of USA, and I told him to pull the Gibson green, he did it in the first set haha.
