I pulled a Zimmer orange refractor auto from Draft.

Does anyone know what they sell for? Two golds sold for $106 and $110. Purple sold for $225 and a red sold for $450. I'm guessing $150 or so?

Should I sell now or hold till next season? I'm in no need of money right now, so that isn't a factor.

Thanks

I found a couple on terapeak. One went for 155.05 on 12/3 and another went for 148.50 on 12/4 so you are in that $150 range.

Not that I'm the prospect law or anything close to it, but I thought he was one of the better pitchers in 2012 Draft based on my research. Pitchers can always go either way, but if you pulled it yourself and don't need money, I'd take a shot holding it into the season. I could see him dominating High A in early 2013 and climbing up charts very quickly before he progresses to the upper levels of the Minors.

Not to mention, Orange Refs are rare enough that you can often get a nice premium just for listing with Best Offer and being patient.

I'd say hold. That's just me though.

I'd hold onto it for a while. When he was drafted he was one of the better pitchers in the draft and the Royals still took him in the top 10 knowing he was hurt and wouldn't pitch much after signing. I don't recall what the injury was exactly, but it wasn't major. His ceiling is a top of the rotation guy so I'd wait until he gets called up or does something really well.

He also happens to be raw, more like a high school pitcher than a college pitcher. I believe he was a shortstop or outfielder upon entering USF and didn't start pitching right away. If I would have pulled it, I would likely sell rather than hold.
