Might as well keep all the discussion here.

Series is tied 1-1 heading into Denver for game 3. The Nuggets are currently 3.5 point favorites for tonight's game.

This series should be called "Melo: Doin' work." Melo and Billups have been outstanding and I expect it to continue. The Lakers will need something consistent outside of Kobe and Gasol or they are in huge trouble.

should be called "melo vs kobe" because kobe has been playing just as good if not better than melo, the only difference is his teamates are not doing anything close to melos.

Derek Fisher needs to take the Sam Cassell role of last year. He is KILLING us.

Yeah but Melo is demolishing Kobe on the boards. I know Kobe is smaller, but Melo has made big play after big play out-muscling Kobe for an offensive rebound.
Plus, we expect it out of Kobe.

Kobe rarely guards carmello. He has been on Billups almost every play. Ariza guards Carmelo. Odom/Bynum need to grab those loose balls.

Just watch the highlights of the first two games. Every big offensive board Melo has gotten is with Kobe on his back.

He got one big one on Kobe. He only has 7 in the series and I know 3-4 of them have come against Ariza(he is way to big for Ariza on the Glass), and 2-3 have come on just rebounds where Gasol and Odom/Bynum look lost. I thought he had more than 7, not as much as everyone is making it out to be, considering Kobe has 5. Also if Ariza can keep making Melo shoot 10-29-30+ shots, I think the lakers will have a good chance. My biggest worry tonight is JR smith/Nuggets bench vs the Lakers bench.

Lakers take back home court! What a game by Ariza.
He was the Lakers MVP today (I obviously don't count Kobe since he's automatic).
9/28 from the field for Melo and Chauncey together. Yuck

Especially after failing once and calling a timeout. Unreal. Watching this series it makes me realize why George Karl's career postseason record is so bad.

Yup Ariza was huge. And as much as I hate to admit it, Luke Walton played some good minutes. Pau kept us in it for a stretch as well.

Derek Fisher on the other hand... Still horrible.

Melo has been pretty overrated in this series. Sure he had a few great games, but the guy isn't that good. Either way, this was a big win for the Lakers, and I just can't see them losing this series.
