for everyone speculating and assuming that he made this cash card deal for the laporta red, and everything was set up ahead of time, you are wrong, it was a ploy to calm everyone down, weather the storm if you will

cardboardbeautys called the dude immediatly after the auction because he knew once it was posted here people (even myself) would be offering the guy higher amounts of money, the dude was very nice apparently and basically told him a sale is a sale and he had the laporta red in a drawer for 2 years and he had no intention of backing out of the 200 BIN deal

there was no trade

he got it for 200

Oh SNAP......

I guess there are alot of people who got this one wrong!

Edit: I take that back. Cardboardbeautys lied and told me it was cash/trade.

My bad.

I understand that he gets great deals on his cards, but does he honestly ever sell anything? I cant imagine that any sane person would ever even think about paying anything remotely close to what he lists his cards at. I would have no problem buying from him if his prices were even remotely somewhat in the realm of reasonable.

How can it be in a "drawer" for 2 years, when the product is barely a year old?

Wow, crazy demands.

Just remember to purchase your rare prospect cards EARLY before they get held hostage and for ransom.

I assume he sells stuff offline mostly. I have seen him set up at White Plains.

I heard that, but someone said that he had the Holland at $3500 at WP..Even offline, that price is insane.

I picture him at shows wearing a huge trench coat and pulling it open, and he has his whole inventory for display on the inside.

"Superfractors, 3 for $10,000!"

He'd only be able to fit about 6 Superfractors within his trench coat.

Lol this dude’s becoming fcb’s new wossa. Seriously, people laugh @ him for being online (apparently) all the time, yet people TAKE TIME to find out what he buys. Not sure what the point of it is? However, it is kind of amusing that random strangers generate so much fcb love haha

seriously, after all the bmb/fcb hype over the dude, i was a little underwhelmed when i met him. yeah, he has some nice cards, but really, it wasn't all that and a bag of doritos. Not every prospector w/nice cards flashes them on message boards or in photobuckets and @ the end of the day, it is JUST cardboard...even superfractors

Actually contrary to the bolded statement superfractors are actually created from a mixture of silk and liquid wealth.
