Lars BC Gold Ref or Sterling Black Ref

lars anderson 08 bowman chrome gold refractor auto #/50

or

lars anderson 08 bowman sterling black refractor auto #/25

if you had to choose, which one would you buy/add and why?

does sterling have better potential due to eye appeal and less print run or does the gold refractor disaster not matter?

thoughts/opinions appreciated

I'd go with the Bowman Chrome Gold Refractor since its an on-card signature. Although the product went down the tubes its still very difficult to pull one of the big boys due to the ginormous checklist.

gold chrome, on card, chrome holds/gains price better. Now the one issue may be was that the mud looking gold or was that bowman w/chrome.

Neither lol, a blue ref or two is what I would take. [I'd rather have on card, but not gold because those ones look crappy]

I dont get the hate for the Gold Refs..In person they dont look bad at all..Maybe not quite as good as 07 and earlier, but I think its blown WAY out of proportion.

They don't shine at all. They look like topps gold parallel inserts.
