I don't usually post mail threads but I have had a really good two months for my collection and not so great for my wallet.
I was able to pick up a 1954 Bowman signed by Clint Courtney which takes me down to 4 more left to finish the signed set, no scan because it's at Psa being slabbed and 2 Yaz Rookies to add to the one I already had to get signed this month.

First I picked up both of these Willie Mays signed cards with hopes of finishing them in the near future:

Well I have already finished one:

Then I took a PSA 8 Earl Weaver rookie I had, cracked it and got it signed along with a book me and my son have been working on.

Turned into this

Heres the book we are working on we will be adding Brooks the end of the month:

And both of us with Earl:

If you remember me from Bmb and the beginning of this board I had almost finished this set but sold it to work on my 54 Bowman signed set. Well I am starting it again I picked up these 2 for about $15 combined, I have about 20 more incoming just have to finish paying them off.

Then I loved signed vintage and already had a 1952 Topps signed Hoyt Wilhelm which is a tough and desired card so I have decided to slowly work on the set. I picked these ones up. Kinder died in 1968 and Gilbert died in 1967 I think I got GREAT deals on both.

I bought these last night with my ebay bucks so they are not here yet. The Lown will be cracked and sent to be signed.

I also started to work on patch autographs of HOFers and was able to pick up a few nice ones. The Mays being my favorite.

And Finally a piece I have been wanting to add to my collection for 5 years. I eyed some up at the National last year in Baltimore but ultimately passed. I got this one from Mears auction and it is an A7. 1964 game used road jersey worn by Wes Stock and Frank Bertaina. I also was able to pick up an original press photo of Frank Bertaina wearing the jersey.

Great stuff. Love the Turk Lown stuff. Have met him several times in Pueblo (where he's from) and know his grandson very well. I've picked up a few things of his myself.

Great pickups!

Just a friendly heads up from a person who has done a bunch of photomatches. The really nice jersey you have does not match the one he is wearing in the photograph.

Even at the angle there are a few lines which do not match up. The most glaring being the cross line in the letter t,the one in the picture is off the pinstripe and your is clearly laying on the line.

But with that said still a great piece and if you need any help feel free to pm me if you find some other pictures, I will gladly help out to get a photomatch if possible.

Thanks for all the comments guys.

Nyc3- I honestly didn't even pay that close of attention to the jersey as I bought it based off the date of the wire photo. I will pm you if I find any more photos of him in 64 but I doubt there are too many.

I still haven't decided yet. I'd like to turn my guest room into my baseball "museum" since my basement would take too much to finish since it would need to be dug out to be deep enough to stand in comfortably. I have thought about either framing or using a headless mannequin to display it. Regardless I am now hoping I can get a home jersey from the late 50's to mid 60's at the national in Baltimore to add to my collection.
