Well, perseverance pays off from time to time after all. I grabbed the last blaster of 2010 Bowman Platinum at Walmart tonight (the one I left there the other night, I'm guessing) and BINGO!!!! Very happy to FINALLY get a hit-- first a ref auto of Jordan Henry, clean card, nice/sharp...then a BIG hit-- wicked nice-looking blue ref relic patch auto 35/50 of USA star Andrew Maggi. See pics here:

Re: LAST PLATINUM BLASTER IS A WINNER!! MULTICOLOR JSY AU /50!!!

Interesting how Topps is now telling us it's a multi-color swatch. Interesting way of battling the bogus patch guys? Do the backs of the plain white swatch cards say "No need to get excited, you got just a plain white swatch"?

I believe Topps messed up on the wording. I'm not sure if they intended to call those cards multi colored relic/patch cards. I pulled a Brett Cecil Blue refractor Auto patch 10/50. It's a piece of the actual Blue Jay Logo Patch.

I'm dumbfounded as to why people are receiving the conventional jersey card and are being mislead.

This is a blue refractor au multi-color relic patch /50, right? I think the term "multi-color" refers to just the patch/jsy that can be multicolored from the USA uniforms.

I read on the pack that the odds of hitting this card are 1 in 2,825 packs. In other words, by odds, it would cost $7,062.50 in blaster packs to actually hit one of these.

The dual red auto'd relic cards are nearly 10x harder to hit. There are some cards with SIX autos on them in this series-- freakin nuts: one has Stras, Heyward, Stanton, Santana, Castro, and Posey...all on the same card. Good luck finding that beast. Looks like there are six "hexagraphs" in all.

Anybody know how much this blue one is worth right now? Anyone interested to buy it? Just PM me an offer.

Much to the contrary, I pulled this saying "Multi Color Relic Patch" and it was a plain swatch....also, for an added bonus it had a nice ding in the corner and crooked sticker! ::facepalm:: Needless to say, it's already back at Topps for a replacement (hopefully).

oh that sucks...glad mine's perfect! :D ;) did get a couple dinged/roller-marked other cards, but thankfully not these auto'd cards...

the blue ref relic is really a cool looking card in person-- better than scan shows

the henry card is sharp as well. this platinum stuff's not bad...if only I could get the PHA-4 Hexagraph-- if anyone pulls it, let me know please...thanks

These USA jersey/patch auto refractors are worth holding on to for the time being. Personally, the USA cards should be held on to until the draft comes around in June. Most of these USA guys featured in the Bowman Chrome/ Bowman Platinum products, will go between the 1st-3rd round of the 2011 MLB draft. Their draft statuses will only help boost the value of the card, once these players are officially recognized by Major League Baseball.

Tune into ESPN to watch the college world series, too. You'll see some of these USA guys compete. They are the real deal.
