I'd probably keep them in the packaging and buy a dupe of each if you can afford to/find them. Then display the dupes.

Its gonna cost me close to $150 to get one set, i ain't paying another $150 for a second set

Dave the packaging on these looks great IMO and your Eric Staal will go out on Monday :D

thanks again Bilko. glad to hear the packaging looks great because I am planning on keeping the Staal and Crosby MIP. I open all my other McFarlanes but not these.

I don't think I've ever seen a hockey McFarlane figure at Target or Wal-Mart around here and Minnesota is a pretty big hockey state. Now that I think about it. Interesting...

Your best bet is TRU, they always have them in. Walmart and Targets is very hit or miss. But all TRU carry McFarlanes sports figs. Shinders also has boatloads of them.

I figured TRU would. I've been to the one in Blaine by Northtown a few times and they had an okay selection of McFarlanes. I don't remember if they had any hockey though. I forgot about Shinders, but that would involve actually stepping foot in that overpriced craphole.

my loving wife came home last night with 7 of these from Wally World.... Crosby, Staal, Nash, Toews, Heatley, Luongo and Brodeur.

but my ocd demands that I find the other two... Iginla and Thornton. I went back to the same Walmart she was at, and another one nearby, but no luck. Imagine that, iginla sold out in Calgary....

so I guess I go on a quest tomorrow.

Great pickups. From what I have seen on ebay and online toy stores, the red jerseys are the hard to find variant ones. Look on ebay and you will see 2 red Crosby's sold for $37 and $34. Most are the white jersey variants. Currently just one red and a bunch of white on ebay. So those figures are more valuable if they stay MIP. Good job on finding those.

I've been to the one on macleod and Southland, nothing there

Macleod and Shawnessy, they have Staal,Nash, Toews and Crosby left as of early this morning

11st SE (Deerfoot Meadows) nothing there, the girl said they never carry McFarlanes at that location

and Mackenzie Town... nothing left, couldn't find anyone to ask who knew what i was talking about...

that leaves the north i guess...

I bought mine from Marlborough on Saturday night. I left a Toews and Crosby behind (wish i had bought them too that night as i went back on Sunday and they were gone). Went to Deerfoot yesterday morning and there were none there either. Looks like these sold out everywhere pretty fast :(

Okay, so I'm getting an eerie feeling here... on the back of the packages it says there are 9 players to be had. I have the following:

Sid
Iggy
Brodeur
Luongo
Toews
Nash
Staal
Heatley

I can't find Joe Thornton. I had a Wal Mart clerk crack 6 cases in front of me today, and no Thornton. Now, I've seen Joe in his white jersey as part of the hobby version. But I've never seen Heatley in white. Never.

Is this some weird hobby/retail cross over from hell? McFarlanes website is useless of course. Can anyone confirm that Big Joe exists? Pics or it didn't happen.
