Thanks for the replies about this with other athletes and card companies. This concerns me across the board and will make me reconsider all of my future purchases. If Leaf/Topps/Panini/Etc claim there are only "X" amount of a given card, say a number refractor auto, there should be that number plus a limited number for replacements and the rest destroyed; anything less is derogatory to the hobby.

There is no stated print run on the Foster cards, fyi... BG

BG, completely understand the lack of a PR on the non-serial numbered cards. Not sure why prints runs are so secret anymore, I see zero benifit to the consumer and plenty of room for companies to water down products. What is to keep any company from having "X" amount signed, pack out "X-minus" cards and later list the rest on ebay.....personally I think it is BS.

Published print runs would help the struggling Trump and Rourke, if they are so "premium" ebay sales do not reflect thus. I can see they are in short supply, but without a PR they could "still be in wax". Please stop being so cloak and dagger.

I just wish this information was more accessable from ALL companies.....Topps did better with the Harper and Strasburg cards in 2010.

Believe it or not, but this was one of the minor issues that led to wide spread usage of the hated and feared autograph label years and years ago. I know that during my 1st year at DLP there were a few shipments of cards that had been sent out to be autographed by various players that myseriously disappeared and then started showing up on eBay.

I don't know of any player that ever kept a sheet of autograph labels.

I like not knowing every auto print runs. That way if you really follow the stuff, you can kinda figure out who may be in short supply. Like Allen Ginter autos. Serial # bit is getting old. Make consumer do some homework and if dealers aren't paying attention steals can be found. BG did already post on Facebook that base card #100 is short print. Could be a real key card down line when people go back and try doing base set.

Right now is the time to buy Ali Leaf stuff. This set has a chance to really grow down line once Ebay flood ends and more people stumble upon it. Already getting great reviews and 399 cases will dry up in few months.
