I can't tell if you're being serious or not. I did get a nice TTM from him a couples years ago. Maddux definitely dominated the 90's. Definition of "pitcher" IMO

I take it Leaf bought overstock on those #'s auto cut pieces. Many of those were used in other projects. Will be far less than 1000 of those made by Leaf. But it will fool people and buyer can get paid when people list them out of 1000.

Leaf doesn't have a thousand of them, that is just their numbering for their original purpose, which was for a plaque auto on a statue (hartland or salvino or something). A guy had a stack of them fs at the FCB national for $10 per. I almost bought a few for my collection, but was like what the hell am I going to do with this little 1.5 inch plaque other than lose it. Personally I think they're fugly.

Maddux was a great pitcher... He was a favorite of my friend's back when he still collected. I can remember the day his parents surprised him with a RC. I like him too, but I like most of the guys from the '90s.

I think I would've picked one up at that price. Looks like a pretty good ROI as the first one from the product sold for almost $40.

What was the price of a pack?
Even if it was $100, 40% return seems good, especially if their is 1000 of them.

I guess I didn't mean their pack price as much as paying $10 for the item at a show and it having roughly a $40 value when packaged in a product. I still would've paid $10 for the original product and maybe had it framed with an 8x10.

I believe the cost per pack is somewhere around $200-$250 but there is also another card in the pack. Some are cuts, PSA/DNA or graded cards.

These autographs are not the primary card in the pack. They are just something to add some value. I'd obviously prefer a card with a picture, but it's a great way to get a cheap signature of an all-time great. IMO Maddux is on a very short list for best pitcher of all-time.

BG has done a great job of finding ways to offer value IMO and this was a smart move.

Yep, the fact they are just a little bonus adds a bit more to the overall value of this product. Will it turn a losing pack to a winner? Doubtful, but an added little something none the less. And I agree that it will be a good time to add a Maddux auto to the ole' collection on the cheap albiet perhaps not the most appealing card ever made (However, I think they are not that bad). For thoes who have them in hand, how do they look? Any mention of a certification?

definately one of my favorite pitchers of all time. I was pretty happy to find the above at a reasonable BIN a year or two ago.

I've always thought that if any player had a shot at getting 100% to the HOF it would be Maddux.
