I could care less if it's a sticker auto, as long as the card is designed to have a place for that sticker. I of course prefer on card over them given a choice, but Panini just downright screwed up their on card autos. They are blotchy, the ink is separating, the card is too darkbehind the ink, so it doesn't show up well, etc.

I wouldn't buy a Panini product because of this. Until the fix it, they will not get a cent from me.

Panini may be the biggest fail in sports cards since Collector's Edge. (Although Collector's Edge had some nice looking cards)

Also, the cuts dont have pictures on them, WTF?

Upper Deck has done this before too, in baseball and hockey products, so don't act like it hasn't been done before.

Yeah this is nothing new:

Those were some of the worst cuts. Not only was there no picture, but the design was awful, and it looked like somebody numbered it by hand after market.

I don't know about you but it does matter to me if the player actually held the card and signed it rather
than some shumck peeling stickers off a sheet and putting them on the card. The card companies would
like you to believe that it doesn't matter, but to them they can save huge amounts of money sending
a guy a blank sheet of stickers rather than meeting with him and watching him sign. Topps is the only
one who witnesses all their signings, I think that matters big time.

I believe the issue with cut cards not showing the persons face on them is that you have to pay them more
if you picture them. DLP/Pannini has been cutting corners for a long time in this department.

In this economy the card companies need to learn that no one is going to pay big money for these products
anymore if they don't look stunning, especially when there are great products in the 3-5 dollar a pack range.
