Leaf Nationals card stamp?

How did someone go about getting a gold Leaf Nationals gold stamp on the card?
Did you have to open product in front of them, then 1 card per pack opened?

they were supposedly stamping one card from any box you opened but i bought some boxes for the leaf bucks and was not offered any card stamping... i guess i should have asked. It was either a giveaway or someone actually got a gold stamp.
