I won't be doing anything.. I personally find this thread amusing..

Those trying to be funny are actually funny and those trying to be a serious may be trying but don't understand trademark law.

Keep up the good humor.. BG

In my opinion, this will settle, nominally, and confidentially, because Panini doesn't have the cash for a lengthy trial, and I suspect both sides know the fact that this is a suit filed only to protect the "good" name of Prismatics, rather than a case that can actually be won. Don't think for a second, though, that Leaf has a snowball's chance of winning this. If I had a spare few hours, I could draft Panini's response to this complaint -- and have a really good time doing it. Unfortunately, Chris won't pay my hourly rate. :)

In my opinion, this lawsuit does much more harm to Leaf's already shaky reputation (check the BO board where they don't fear the reprisal of lawsuits) than the dilution of the term "prismatic" ever could.

Panini doesn't have the money for this? I find that hard to believe. Hopefully they fight this because this is the dumbest lawsuit I've ever heard of. Again, I'll ask here, Is Leaf buying Lillard Prizms to reinsert into their product while suing the maker of Prizm cards? Does anyone else see the contradiction here?

You manage to find 5+ hours every day to troll Leaf on FCB and troll EVERYTHING on Blowout.

I'm pretty sure you could find another two hours to draft a virtual response from Panini

My favorite part of this thread is that 6 of the 8 pages are the same 2 or 3 people feeding off each other and regurgitating the same garbage. Congrats Loblaw, in the entire collecting world you've managed to find less than a handful of guys to drink your anti-Leaf kool aid. I have no doubt this thread would be on page 3 in 24 hours if you guys weren't bumping it yourselves. Very few people have cared about any of your other Leaf bashing threads and even less care about this one. Let it go, fellas.

If I get a trademark for "sticker autographs" will Panini stop making them?
