Anyone gotten shipping info from Blowout?

They just told me they wouldn't be shipping until the release date, maybe a day earlier. I hope this means that its when they get it, and they won't wait until the original release date

His better cards, the 5s and 1/1, are already on the bay.

I'm not sure I like this product as much as Metal. I was never a crusade fan, and I doubt many prospectors were. The parallels barely seem parallel... hopefully the hobby will embrace them, though.

Jimbo is already ripping into his cases as we speak. In his first box, he pulled a Hak-Ju Lee Black Auto/5.

Scans don't really do them justice. I've owned quite a few Metal cards and these cards are way way better.

I did? I mean the Ichiro Atomic was pretty sweet, but otherwise I don't think 19 cases of Veteran parallels was all that lucky.

already picked up a base and a ref auto of trevor may. my dysfunction with may collecting continues!

$15 was a fair price on the blue. A little less than what the /99 metal is at, but given the fact that there are almost 2x per many autos per box, it should be less. I expect the metals to fall as well.

Agreed. Dont really think i'm going to pile up on the valiants. the chrome non-auto will be fine if he does continue to move up the prospect list.

I think I'd take them over Metal and this scan shows why:

Some people like all that crazy stuff in the background. Some people don't.

How do these cards compare to the Donruss Crusades in:

1. Clarity of the photos;
2. Quality of the card stock and surface;
3. Etching;
4. Refractor finish?

The overall design looks about identical, so I am curious how the quality of the card itself compares otherwise. Thus far I am of the opinion that Leaf products are a step forward from the totally unrelated Razor products that came out a few years ago, but still a notch below Topps, UD, and Panini in terms of the quality of the printing and design itself. To Brian's credit, his quality control appears to be generally superior to that of the other companies regarding centering, surface scratches; etc.
