So I was looking for some stuff to put on EBAY and I came across my box of Leather Bound cards and decided to scan them in. Some are auto'd and some are not..
If you look at the Chipper, I see there is a Gold version that should be numbered /25 but isn't..
Yes, I have 3 Campy's it's not a triple post. :-)

I actually have a majority of the set. Day and Grove are probably my only biggies left. CJ wouldn't like my offer on the Grove.

I looked to see what I paid for the Lefty ($160) and the Leon ($250)..

I think the last Leon Day sold for $300 before this last one sold for $325..

One of the nicest looking sets ever made, and glove cards are criminally underappreciated and undervalued IMO. Compared to jerseys, gloves are many times more rare (a player may use a single glove all season as opposed to many, many jerseys, and when it comes to cards, gloves are much smaller providing much less material).

The Day, Campanella and Grove are probably the biggest vintage names in a great set. (The Ichiro is a particularly tough card). Day never played in the Majors, so I'd love to know whether the glove was from the Minors or from the ***** Leagues. (Can someone check the back of a card?)

One note, if someone is looking to pick up a Campanella or Grove glove cards, there are much cheaper options (none look remotely as nice but there is a Campy glove card that can be had for $20 or so... an absolute steal. I used to hoard them because the price made no sense. Still doesn't IMO.)

The unnumbered Chipper might be a replacement

Couldn't agree more. Not only are they far rarer than jersey swatches but they are aesthetically appealing & unique in their own right, as I find the glove to be the most personable item used by a player.
