He definitely took less to go to Miami. The other teams could have offered him a lot more than 10%
I could be wrong on this, but I had heard this before talking in the LCS... Pro players pay the state tax for each game they play to the state that the game is played in. So, he would only have no taxes on 50% of his salary by playing in Miami. He's still paying taxes for every road game (other than Orlando).
I don't know if that's true or not but it's very interesting. I would like a solid answer on it. If it is true than no state tax in FL is irrelevant.
