I gotta say this, due to the really flimsy packaging on 2011 Cuts, I'm seeing a lot of sellers on ebay(and A LOT of them are card shop owners) selling just one Legendary Cuts card and it just happens to be a fold open or one of those extra thick Exquisite Cuts. I've seen at least a dozen sellers like this! I can see a shop owner opening a case for his shelf and hmmm, this box seems a lot heavier than these other four. Am I the only one seeing this? Kinda like those ridiculously obvious UD Epic Baseball boxes that had the bat barrel combo cards in them(I read that's how the quad w/Ruth,Foxx etc. was pulled by the shop employee putting out the boxes). Anyhow, I think it stinks that the average customer at some of these guys shops have no shot at those big cards, I see a lot of cards shops with 4 dud boxes of Cuts for sale on the shelf and the 8 player fold out, or Lincoln cut is on ebay by the owner.

The card shop I go to doesn't open any products.. He leaves that for his customers.. I have been doing business with him for over 25 years.. There are a few members on here I have sent to him over the years because I can trust in what he says..

He got some Legendary Cuts in today and I stopped by on my way home after I talked to him on the phone.. There were 5 boxes in his display case.. So I grabbed one to test the waters..

Yeah, maybe I'm just being overly skeptical. I thought about not even bringing it up but then I hit the submit button..

It is defiantly a product I would not consider opening if I was not there when the case was opened. You don't know what the shop owner might have done, or even another customer who was in before you.

1st box out of the first case at my shop had case hit in it at my LCS.

But the lady that works there usually picks people boxes and will pick based on weight. I can remember her and I trying to tell the heavier Topps Sterling boxes, lol. But in the case of SP Cuts its obvious. I was hoping that all cuts would be uncased so that this couldn't happen, but I give too much cred to the manufacturers...

Well I was just getting over my anger towards UD and greedy shop owners who searched their Cuts cases for the heavier boxes but then I just checked ebay and there's 22 book cuts or the thick Exquisite cuts from sellers who have only ONE Legendary Cuts card for sale and quite a lot of them are card shops I've bought from or my friends have and we'll never buy from them again(also one guy who only has shoes for sale plus his Cuts book card). Maybe just a coincidence but I highly doubt it.
