I'm not looking for a Google search regurgitation here.

Who can name some all-time great teammates in recent history (hitting or pitching)? Names that are synonymous with one another?

Randy Johnson / Curt Schilling
Tom Glavine / Greg Maddux
Jose Canceco / Mark McGwire
Sandy Koufax / Don Drysdale

Somehow, Jeter / Rivera doesn't have the same ring, despite being all-time great teammates.

Nolan Ryan/Frank Tanana (back in the 70's, as a California Angel fan, these were the two pitchers that gave us hope)

Bill Russell/Davey Lopes (such a great double play combo in the 70's for the Dodgers)

and, though player/manager, I find it almost impossible to separate Reggie Jackson/Billy Martin

Manny and Ortiz was my first to mind, but I think Miggy/Prince could end up ranking high all time.

"Tanana and Ryan, then lots of crying."

You could also throw Garvey and Cey into that mix.

...or Matrin and Steinbrenner.
