as for grabbing the cage, if you want to call out Lesnar for grabbing the cage then you have to call out Florian. Florian grabbing the cage when Joe went for that huge slammed saved him from a huge takedown and helped him get Joe down to sub him.

I've been seeing a lot of people giving KenFlo **** for that this morning, but I have yet to hear anyone bash Brock for it, which surprises me to be honest.

There are alot of people making it sound like such a huge upset - Lesner overcame the big bad legend---LESNER WAS THE FAVORITE - He won a fight he was supposed to win...

You apparently don't read many MMA sites. The majority of the 'experts' and MMA fighters themselves that were polled picked RANDY to win the fight. And the poll last night had Randy picked too.

Randy was the favorite going into this fight in most peoples eyes.

Look it up.

I will admit I was drunk off my ass last night. hahaha Saw the fight at a bar and several shots of various drinks tends to magnify my hatred toward certain things. I don't like Brock but will respect his abilities.

Anyway, Brock won fairly and I congratulate him. I still think that his gas tank is going to be a big question in the future. He was breathing very heavily at the end of the first.

As far as Barnett goes, there is no doubt in my mind that he would sub Brock. He wouldnt be giving up as much size and strength as Randy. As for the comment about why he wasnt in the main event instead of Randy (whom he's beaten before), he and Dana hate each other. Josh will not fight in the UFC again, he's said so many times.

In conclusion, go Nogeira!

I didnt say anything about the "experts" - I bet the fight last night - and Lesner was favorite according to the people who matter---VEGAS.

Well then that's what you should have said in the first place. Not make such a general statement.

Lesnar is a big strong guy with wrestling ability. I was not overly impressed with him last night, but he uses the tools he has correctly. Its no secret I dont like the guy as he sounds like a total ass to me in most of his interviews, but it looks as though he is for real. I am just glad he was actually respectful last night to Randy and not his usual childish "ha ha I beat you!" routine.
We'll see how far he goes. I think the biggest tests for him will how he handles a jiu jitsu specialist and how he handles the later rounds. Time will tell.

3 fights - 2 wins & 1 loss.

Time will tell. For people to be talking about he and Fedor already is comical to me.

4 fights....3 wins, 1 loss

but yes, fedor would crush brock just as he has Noguiera, Randleman, Sylvia, etc.

Plus, fedor is around Brocks age, not 15 years older.

...but i also agree with ty on the "gas in the tank". (forgot to mention that last night). Brock was exhausted, and very easy to tell, but we also learned he could take punches

Actually, 4 fights - 3 and 1 but the first fight was against Kim Min Soo who was a last minute replacement and is terrible anyway.

This is the truth with him and Fedor though. I don't care right now though. Let those hanging off of Brock's balls have their moment. His next fight is against either Mir or Nog anyway.

One, go back and watch the fight again. He WAS NOT exhausted at the end of the first round. He wasn't breathing heavily, his mouth wasn't really open, he wasn't huffing and puffing. He was just sitting there calm listening to his corner. Go back and reevaluate that again. Please.

And two, ONE FIGHT, the Herring fight is which you were referring to Ty, and you say 'like his usual self'? So I guess that was Couture being his usual self last night getting knocked the **** around and TKO'd in the second round??? I mean, it happened in ONE fight, so that's got to be 'his usual self' right??

A: He sure looked like he was breathing heavy to me. Possibly nerves, I don't know.
B: By his usual self I didnt only mean post fights.

Whatever, I really don't care. I just don't like the guy, period. Did you even read my above posts?? I congratulated him in victory and recognized his talents. I'm not gonna get down and suck his balls like he's the next coming of Christ. He is a big strong fighter that will do well because of his size and strength, not his skill. That is my opinion.

I know you don't like him, and that's fine. I can understand that. I read your entire post, I just wanted to comment on a few things. Rogan and Goldberg were talking so much about how Brock looked so worn out at the end of round one, when if you watch it, he really didn't. He was just up against the cage grappling with Randy, and he looked calm to me. He didn't look like he was being worn out. I'm not saying it isn't tiring, and I am sure he wasn't 100% fresh, but from the way a ton of people are making it look like, you'd think the guy was about to collaps after him and Randy broke to go to the corners. So I watched it a few times more to see exactly how gassed he really was. They were up against the cage, then came off it, the round ended, and they went to the corners. Brock just sat and started listening to his corner. I didn't see any heavy breathing, or shoulder or chest movement thta would insinuate he was getting gassed. If he wasn't gassed at the end of the first Herring round, THAT round isn't going to gas him. I'm not really talking about YOU Ty, I have just been hearing these SherDOg ******** making it seem like he was about to fall over like a chopped down tree after that round. When if they'd actually go back and watch it with an unbiased opinion, they'd see that was not the case at all.

And in the future, he's not only going to do well because of his size or strength. He's been working in every area of the game, and he's only going to improve at that and become more of an overall MMA fighter instead of just a straight forward bull rusher like he was in the HErring fight. Hell, you could already tell he's improved a **** load against Randy. Who would have ever thought Brock would have had such a good standing game and throw those knees like he did? I never would have. But he impressed with how his stand up game improved with the clinch and the knees.

On the post fight interview with ESPN and Frank Mir, Brock said he was super nervous that first round, that he didn't know what to expect, and it was really just a feel out round for him. But then when the second started he realized he could out wrestle him, and pretty much made him do many things he wanted to make him do, so it was time to come out throwing and see where that took him.

When the second round started I looked at my friend and said that Brock was probably going to come out throwing because he got the nerves and everything out in the first round. He was smart in not just bull rushing and getting super excited, that way he could avoid a big mistake.

I love how some Randy fans are saying his hammer fists were ***** hammer fists and stuff like that. Um, did these people see Randy after the fight was over? DId they see him at the afterparty? He had ******* bruises all over his face and head, and his left ear was busted open. And did these people not see Randy try to get up and then fall right back down almost instantly after the fight ended? These people amaze me. Anything to slam Brock and try and make their hero look better. ***** shots my ass. He was dribbling his head like it was a basketball.

People on here really don't piss me off, but the dipshits on SherDog just drive me insane. I don't really know why I go there to talk about this because it just pisses me off. People are so stupid.

I almost **** myself when I seen this about to happen.

Because I have seen many pictures of Randy training for Brock on big guys backs choking them out. Then he freaking goes for it!! I jumped up and was like OH ****!

brock_reverse.gif

Oh, and that was a great reversal.

Brock fought a good fight. Randy is just too small for someone like Brock's size. Not sure how Brock will fair against Noguiera or Mir, but he is improving.

I'm not a big Lesnar fan,but he is a threat.Mir or Nog are going to have there hands full getting him to the ground.I believe Nog can get him to the ground, with some low body kicks.
If Lesnar catches any of them with a Clean punch,He will ground and pound both of them.
