Awesome, awesome contest CJ. I always enjoy watching from afar or just reading your threads, guess I might toss my hat in on this one.

I will go with $73.45.

No real reason, just my wild guess :D

Alright after pondring, I'll go with $44 simply because you are amongst the most generous members here so I'm attempting to gauge your thought process ;)

Thanks Chris

Okay, the moment of truth. The tipping point was one of these 11 figures...all significant in baseball history (sort of):

$26.32 (Ripken's consecutive games played)
$27.00 (27 World Series titles for NYY)
$56.41 (DiMaggio's 56 game hit streak in 1941)
$60.27 (Ruth's 60 HR in 1927)
$61.61 (Maris' 61 HR in 1961)
$73.01 (Bond's 73 HR in 2001)
$75.76 (Cincinnati's back-to-back World Series titles)
$116.01 (Seattle's 116 wins in 2001)
$130.82 (Henderson's 130 SB in 1982)
$262.04 (Suzuki's 262 H in 2004)
$383.73 (Ryan's 383 K in 1973)

To keep this one simple, I just went with the median. Whoever came closest to that without going under wins! I wonder who that could be?

Oh yeah, the items were:

7 31 34 38 40 42 45
47 48 49 50 52 53 54 and what the heck...59

Sir, please send me a PM if you're interested in this lot for your bid!

Thanks to everyone for playing and stay tuned for future contests/games.

Chris

Dang, should have been on FCB sooner..........When you mentioned it was a significant baseball number as a clue, the first thing I thought of was Cal's streak.

Anyways, even though I'm late to the party, still figured I'd say congrats to the winner and thank you for the giveaway/contest to the members of this site.

CJ, if I am reading everything correctly....I am the closest without going under (and by less than 50 cents at that).

I am definitely interested in the lot, but as boomo said...there are only 15 numbers listed.

What are the other 3 numbers missing?

Those may sway me into purchase now :D

Are you interested in ever moving this: 51 Dizzy Dean & Paul Dean autographed baseball?? MY grandfather used to tell me stories about them all the time and would love to add that to my collection if available. Thanks!
