However, the Andy Roddick "I'm A-Rod" commercial from espn with Stu Scott was one of my favorites.

I agree for the most part. The only _-rod nickname I can stand is Alex Rodriguez.

As for the nicknames....any nickname with the first letter of their first name, a hyphen, and the first 3 letters of their last name [AKA A-Rod, I-Rod, K-Rod, etc.] is by far the worst nickname ever...
