1> Matthew Wieters
2> Roger Maris
3> Lou Brock
4> Torii Hunter
5> Michael Young
On a different thread, someone said Wieters was basically done as a prospect. Another poster said most good players do it the first two years.
Do the above stats mean anything?
Is it too soon to tell? Is it too early to say Wieters is no longer a prospect/phenom/you pick the phrase?

This. Can anybody live up to the expectation of being Mauer with Power? All the scouts worried about him was his glove and from what I've read, he's been better than expected behind the plate. He might not live up to the hype but he's not bad now and has the chance to be very good in the future.blitzerlover said:I think the issue with Weiters was the crazy high expectations he had after tearing up college and the minor leagues. He's still real young, and he's got a ton of potential, but I think the hype around him is gone.

MAUER POWER -
The magical occurrence of “home run power” that comes out of nowhere and is gone by the next season, after the contract has been signed.
