I was inspired by some of you who have signed vintage. I had a few extra 1951 Red Backs from upgrading my set, so I sent off a few. Today's results:

Grady Hatton signed in black ball point, sent to his home on 10/1/08.

Larry Jansen signed in fine blue sharpie, sent to his home on 10/1/08. He also included a signed business type card with his record on the back and him being the winning pitcher in the "Shot Heard Around the World" game in the '51 playoffs.

Wally Westlake signed in black ball point, sent to his home on 10/1/08. He also included a signed 3.5x5 picture and a note about a favorite moment.

......cool, I've been looking for a Williams from this same set but the cards are just so "childlike" that I am reluctant to spend a whole lot for the card. (I'll send your Lou auto in the next day or so.)

While not vintage, here is another Boudreau autograph that I have

boudreaufrontrow.jpg

He also has a 2000 Fleer GOTG autograph card.....

I thought I'd show this off here, also. Its a 1956 Yellow Basepath Pin. I got it out of a gum machine when a youngster. Got my penny's worth on this one!
