I too favor the 2011 more than the 2012. Reason being that the 2011 golds have an actual refractor finish on the full front of the card whereas the 2012, although looks very nice, doesn't have the same "shine" to it:

I like both Alex, but the Black and Silver 2012 parallels do nothing for me. I haven't checked if there is a Felix in 2012, but if there is, go for the Gold!

Yeah there are...I wish the /10 were gold and not silver :? Would LOVE to do a straight up trade for a Felix/Pedroia if possible but thats beating the odds

I ranted about this on my heavily-read blog. If you're going to up the print run for Museums from 10 to 30, why have such even splits between tiers? If anything, it should've been two tiers, with 5/25 split. And ditch the silver. Black and gold design with a silver frame looks stupid. Oh well, I'm sure by 2015 there will be red, purple, and blue added as well, and a Museum card in each box.

Agreed. It's funny that Topps managed to take the only thing from 2011 Marquee that was really good and screw around with it, while i would argue that they have improved everything else about it in a huge way.

My main negative observation on the museum collection autographs is putting the serial number in the direct center of the card. The 2011s accounted for it in the design, but this year it is simply stamped on the middle of the card without rhyme or reason. I'd prefer it on the back where it will not take away from the aesthetics of the card.

I would prefer all serial numbers on the back of cards, regardless of set.

The only ones that don't look like crap and take away from the card design are the cursive 1of1 on UD products.

Are the 2011 Museum autos the same thickness as the 2012s? I have a 2012 Carlos Gonzalez /15 coming in and I was looking to buy a one-touch to put it in. Can anybody help me out with what size I should get? Thanks.

Sweet looking cards everyone. I'm waiting on a Matt Cain redemption myself.

180 pt works perfect for 2011, I assume 2012 are the same

Asked for a replacement for my Latos, got sick of waiting; plus don't think I'm going to keep PCing him. Wonder what kind of value they put on the 2011 Muesum Autos? Hopefully they send something good.

I'm hoping my Upton gets here today. I know it and the Gwynns finally got marked as shipped with DC#s and the Gwynns have arrived.

They'll probably send you a different Museum auto, that makes it easier for them to send a card of similar value
