Dude that's so awesome! Congrats on that and please make the most of it.

I got half my rent for this month paid, 2 weeks worth of groceries, a couple books from my Mom, and a pj set from the lady.

I enjoy the gift giving much more than the receiving this time of year; however, I must admit I received some great stuff, though not card related.

I received a new pressure washer and a bunch of different apparel and tailgate gear featuring my Alma Mater; a Dremel Workstation and several dozen new attachments, including the snake attachment; many new grooming items (I'm a Renaissance man after all); several gift cards to various outfitters and eateries; and finally an awesome espresso maker with frother. I dig it.

The only pedal anyone ever needs is a Boss Ds-1 :)

My Peavey is a modeling amp, so I don't need any pedals. What I do need is access to my looper on my amp. I cannot use it unless I have the pedal-board.
Ok ok. Nice. Lol I had a Peavy with out all that fancy stuff. lol. I used the DS-1 so much, I grabbed the wrong wall plug one day and burnt it out.....oops. My Peavy was old and it crapped out now too. I need to buy a new amp but ive been way too lazy on spending on that stuff.

If you liked the amp I would strongly recommend checking out this amp. I had a Line 6 Spider III for about six-months and realized it was the biggest POS modeling amp on the market. I am a tone *****, i'm not gonna lie. I have a certain tone I want and if I cannot achieve it I won't play that amp. My Peavey is amazing! It doesn't sound digital or computerized like the Line 6 did. It sounds natural.

The amp is called the Peavey Vypyr(pronounced viper)

If you like tone try playing through a AC-30 Orange Amp, preferablly the head with celestion speakers. THe combo is good but the stack is amazing. I play on the 15watt stack called the Tiny Terror. All tube and incredibly loud at 15 watts.

The 30 watt combo would rattle my windows at 1. It has a master volume switch so you can turn your guitar knobs to 10 and still keep tone on the amp without waking the neighbors. I have tried all amps from boutique to Marshall stacks and the 30watt Orange with no pedals, straight into it with the treble backed down and bass to 10 was the best sounding amp I have ever heard.

The best thing of the day was seeing the look on my girlfriends face when I gave her an Ipad....

Between her and my parents the highlights were a box of Leaf Pete Rose (pulled a 2/5 green ink inscription with jersey), some huge harry potter encyclopedia, stuff for pizza making (stone, peel, san marzano sauce, really nice cutter), sweet haul of movies, Eagles Tix for next weekend (total bummer that the jets couldnt beat the giants) and jacks mannequin tix.

Sweet haul on the Jack's tickets. Haven't really been digging the new album much, but critics love it.

A holder for my Keurig cups. This is awesome because your Keurig can sit on top of it.

After looking at your first post Sam, I wouldn't imagine you'd have to choose between anything...

What the hell is that supposed to mean?
