It's a fair question to ask in response to a job posting.

Why waste time applying if it's less than a comparable range to where I'm at now?

I simply thought that if you're going to say that, you can as simply just say what your range is LOL. I'm sure this is a big boy job, so if someone needs a range or needs to ask what the salary range is, they should probably keep moving.
