It makes no difference who the names of the players are if they are not performing (and assuming the above post is accurate, it's clear that Kershaw has had far more games where he pitched well enough that he definitely should have won, and did not.) This does not mean that Kershaw should be Cy Young, rather that he may be the most "unlucky" pitcher this season.

I know they haven't been performing when kershaw pitches, but when he does you expect him to win. If it was cain vs kershaw who would u put money on?
