The playoffs are here!
To celebrate, here's my latest contest, "Line Em' Up".
Unlike previous contests, this one involves some strategy, yet is easy to play.
See below for details and prize information. The deadline for entering is 2pm Eastern Time tomorrow, October 5th. No exceptions!
GRAND PRIZE
The contestant with the highest overall score wins 2% of the combined final bid total on 12 items I have consigned through Huggins & Scott's October Auction (ending Thursday, October 11th).
2nd PLACE
1% of auction proceeds
3rd PLACE
0.5% of auction proceeds
HOW TO PLAY
1. Assemble a lineup using all 10 positions (outlined below) across each of the 4 rounds of the playoffs.
2. You do not have to use all 10 playoff teams, but you cannot use the same team more than once per round.
3. You must use all 10 positions, and cannot use them more than once.
4. You must enter at least one position for each round. This means you can have up to 4 positions from any one team.
SCORING
1. For batters, you earn points for every hit they have at that position during that round. Each round carries an increasingly higher value. Only starting players at each position will be counted (no subs).
2. For starting and relief pitchers, you earn points for each strikeout they record during that round. Again, a higher value is assigned for later rounds.
