This team could go 161-1. And Ty Cobb is on my bench. Boy, that would piss him off!! ;)

Well, I guess it would be tough to start Juan Gonzalez in right with Ruth out there huh? Hope all is well Mike..

Forget team chemistry. This lineup would probably have the highest ever home run total, and be a basement dwelling team. I'd imagine each night, ESPN would be filled with footage of disagreements from the dugout.

I could actually probably put together 3-4 equally potent lineups with many different players, but these guys really stood out to me. It was hard not putting in Ruth, Williams, DiMaggio, Mantle, Schmidt, Ozzie, Bo, Thomas, etc. but the heart wants what the heart wants. I had to fight back my desire to just put in the 1989 World Series A's lineup. As you can see, Canseco is hitting 4th, which is purely for selfish reasons, so he could get in some awesome ABs.

1) LF - Henderson
2) 3B - ARod
3) DH - Canseco
4) RF - Bonds
5) 1B - McGwire
6) CF - Griffey
7) SS - Jeter
8) 2B - Jackie Robinson
9) C - Posey

SP - Pedro Martinez
RP - Eckersley
