Hello FCBers!

Hope everyone is doing well, all considered.

We are just a few days away from a truly unique season, so here’s a unique bingo game to celebrate.

To play, simply copy/paste the signup list below in your reply with your name added to the first available slot.

The signup window will close as soon as we have 20 contestants or July 22nd...whichever comes first.

The game will run until we have 5 winners or the regular season ends (whichever comes first).


HOW TO PLAY

Each card will feature 16 random MLB logos.

Starting July 23rd, logos can be crossed off when that team wins a regular season game by the exact number of runs shown in their position on the chart below.

Once you have completed either a column, a row, a diagonal line, four corners, or a full card, simply make note of the date each space was cleared and post your bingo in this thread.

I will verify the bingo prior to announcing it as a winner.

That’s all there is to it!

SCORING CHART

Again, to clear a space, a team located in that position on your card must win a game by the exact number of runs shown.

Example: If you have the Dodgers logo in the bottom left corner of your card, they must win a game by exactly 4 runs in order to clear that space.

PRIZES

The first player to complete any of the five bingos wins a mystery prize from any of the teams comprising that bingo (contestant’s choice of team).

I'm sorry, but this is a sad display of support for a creative contest and a chance at some free stuff! We don't have more than 13 people who are willing to sign up to play and requires nothing more than checking out some scores? This is part of why these sites seem to be slowly dying, lack of participation!

Let's get the contestant pool filled (although I have a better chance of winning with fewer peeps, as I am notoriously unlucky at bingo of any type)!

Totally agree, Chris is always more than generous with his games, and they are always fun to play...I can’t believe this isn’t getting more interest!

Crazy how an opening day game for a team counts for 0.667% of the total 162 regular season games. With our unique year of 2020, an opening day game for a team counts for 1.667% of the total 60 regular season games. So when a player ends up going to the IL for 14 days...that will end up being 23.333% of the season. Even if it was a just a 3 day IL stint, that would still be a flat 5.000% of the total games for this regular season.

So, If I'm understanding correctly the Dodgers in the lower right corner would be a correct match. They won 8-1 over the Giants yesterday.

Yes, if it is an official outcome, it counts.

Not sure if there are doubleheaders this year, but if there are, each game gives you a chance to clear the space.

Sorry to hear about the slow start, but that tells me the difficulty is just about right! It can all turn around in your favor before you know it.
