The oldest full box I have is 1985 Donruss. Clemens being "outed" killed the long-term value of it. :|

I have unopened rack packs of 1977-1985 Topps (3 of each year) too...it'll be neat to open them when they're over 50 years old (if I'm still kickin').

I originally bought these two hoping to pull an O'Neill Token card, but they have been sitting in my closet for years.

I've had a box of 86 Fleer NBA in my warehouse since 1989. One of the packs has an MJ RC on the top & a MJ RC Sticker in the back.

Also have a case of 84 Donruss that I bought in 84. Shoulda sold that one years ago...

Ouch!

Sitting on a case of 84' Donruss now is like holding a stack or Pujols chrome auto RC redemptions now. Why on earth did you hold for so long? Man, I can remember when packs were pushing $20 a pop! I would seriously burn it and hope the spirit of dead profits leaves you for good!

Also, I'm curious about the 86F box you have. I was almost positive they were sealed from the factory, no?

I waited on a box of 2007 A&G for 2 months. thought I was going to flip it, but that year didn't really increase like 2006 did.

I've still got an 06 and 07 box of A&G.

But the longest ones I've held onto are a pair of 2005 Draft Picks blasters. I get itchy to open one sometimes, but having opened 20+ of them when they came out, I know I won't get much but base chromes.

I've got Bowman/Chrome/Draft cases from 05 to the present waiting for my boys some day.

I've heard of others doing this as well. If I ever have kids, I'll probably do something similar (depending on the $$$ situation and if I'm still into cards). You will all have lots of fun opening those some day!!
