You never know Joseph Stuff happens, studs turn into duds, duds turn into studs, and top 25 prospects turn into stars some times. Not saying it will happen. I would be pumped if it did, don't get me wrong, but you just never know. But for those stating that Jesus Montero base chromes are gonna hit $250 in April. There is a better shot of Chisenhall breaking the $50 mark than Montero breaking $250 in April. For many reasons. Chisenhall isn't blocked, that is #1. Chisenhall is tearing it up and generating hype. Montero is just generating hype. Now, I am NOT saying he is a better prospect, as you can tell by the $$$, but weird things happen. I am heavily invested into Montero, but I will be long gone if prices hit $150 for a base chrome(and probably before that, most likely). I find it hard to believe anyone thinking his base autos will get to $250...

And Chisenhall isn't blocked by a better player, but his defense is still a concern-and the Indians have no incentive to start him out in the bigs this year. Might as well make him a June call-up at the earliest, and save yourself a year of control of Lonnie.[/quote:3vdc4xyq]

I am not sure what thread it was, somewhere yesterday people were saying that about montero and $250. Most prospects have questions, ala Jesus and his defense.

It does make sense for the indians to send him down. But if he is the best player, he will likely stay with the big league. That is just an opinion. I am not saying his base autos will hit $70, but nothing surprises me anymore. But I don't think $50 is a stretch by any means.

Not saying anything about this thread in general, or anything someone said in particular, but I dont think that everyone should jump all over a younger member so quickly. I would think that most of the people on this site would encourage younger kids collecting cards and trying to learn more about it, but it doesn't seem like that is true to most members that have posted in this thread. I know that the grammar is a little annoying, and posting with a lack of some basic knowledge is frowned upon, but it will never get better if there isn't anyone to try and help them out and teach them some of the basics so they can get on the right path.

Anyone else agree?

If you think that your an exception to the people that were being rude, putting him down, and not being helpful, then your forgeting about 99% of your posts in this thread. I saw one half sarcastic, rude post where you TOLD him it wasn't a good buy, instead of HELPING him learn the difference between how thats not a good buy, and identifying if someone is a good buy. You were rude in every other post you made in this thread. Guess it made you feel good.
