Not saying anything about this thread in general, or anything someone said in particular, but I dont think that everyone should jump all over a younger member so quickly. I would think that most of the people on this site would encourage younger kids collecting cards and trying to learn more about it, but it doesn't seem like that is true to most members that have posted in this thread. I know that the grammar is a little annoying, and posting with a lack of some basic knowledge is frowned upon, but it will never get better if there isn't anyone to try and help them out and teach them some of the basics so they can get on the right path.

this orange ref sold for $350 today. It is ridiculously o/c I'd call it 70/30 all around. I almost bought this card from this seller last year but refrained at 1/3 of that price. because of the centering issues.

Agreed Skirp is being cool about the kid, and really without young kids being involved and learning the hobby won't grow, BTW Skirt has a vested interest in Lonnie from his sig as do I.

some people have been trying to explain (including me) why buying the base auto for $30 after he has a good spring game wasnt a good idea. he wont listen.

If you think that your an exception to the people that were being rude, putting him down, and not being helpful, then your forgeting about 99% of your posts in this thread. I saw one half sarcastic, rude post where you TOLD him it wasn't a good buy, instead of HELPING him learn the difference between how thats not a good buy, and identifying if someone is a good buy. You were rude in every other post you made in this thread. Guess it made you feel good.

ballerskrip is one of the FEW people not being rude and putting hiim down in this thread.

i dont think im an exception at all. Someone was going to rip on him for this because it was too easy, so went for it. I did try to help as well. I'm sorry that your such a nice guy. In another thread everyone was telling him it wasnt a good buy but he refused to believe it saying that all past sales were in the past and the card is worth more this week than last week and this one sold for like $1 less and another one that sold recently

and ballerskrip isnt being rude and putting him down because he has a pretty big chisenhall collection and is loving this thread :lol:
