A couple days late on this one. I don't know how in the blue Hell I missed this.

Astros Sign Aaron Boone

According to MLB.com's Alyson Footer, the Astros signed third baseman Aaron Boone to a one-year deal today. Boone may get a chance to platoon with Geoff Blum at third base.

Glad to see Boonie back in the National League Central so I can see him play more often. Not that he'll get a ton of playing time, :lol:

Don't be surprised if he does get a lot of ABs. Geoff Blum is NOT an every day 3rd baseman. They will likely platoon with Boone playing against lefties.

Hopefully he will be at the Caravan this year.I would really like to get him and Mike Hampton OMLB's.
