I will not either, I bid $20 on each Elite Auto, so basically count it as a $20 or more auto.

Wow. So basically, you just bid $20 each on 3 cards.... :o :o :o

I have enough of these cards and anybody that does research can figure out (even with hidden bidders) on what the amounts they are entering. I just know you cannot touch them under $20 anymore, I have been trying lately.

I bought in very early. Flipped everything for a decent profit. Not sure what this would sell for now, but I did get well over $200 for it last season! Not bad for a $75 purchase.

Next Longoria.

Although I like Castellanos and even have a stash of him, how does he comp to Longoria?

He doesn't seem to have or ever project to have (from any of my reading / research) near the power output of Longoria. In addition, while he has shown potential to be a very good defender, I haven't seen anything that would lead one to believe that it would be the caliber of Longoria.

So, while I believe Castellanos has the potential to be a very solid player, I believe that Longoria is far too lofty of a comp.

i think he can develop into the plus power area but he's way too young to know that yet.

His buy in has been too good to pass up.

I might be wrong, but I thought he was projected to hit for decent power, and won the USA HR derby.

Decent power is fine but i wonder what the projection needs to make him elite?

I guess I am a little biased, but Nick will be as advertised. He has been working out with Cabrera and Avila all January. He will be in big league camp before his 20th birthday. The Midwest League has been a pretty good benchmark for big league players. Look at the last 15 years. The Tigers aren't afraid to move their young guys (Porcello, Turner). It's nice to have an organization that doesn't care about Super 2 arbitration status and will bring up players prior to June 1st (unlike the Rays, etc). Nick has a great support staff and he gets it. He doesn't have any "off the field" warning signs. You never know. There is a lot of variables, but he has full support from the top on down in the organization. Great thread.

Castellanos has the frame and strength potential to reach Longoria's power level. Sure Longoria had more power when he first went to pro-ball than Castellanos had, that's because Longoria went to college and Castellanos is straight from High School. I see no reason why a Longoria comp is far fetched.
