Looking for something like this?

Awesome! Those are definitely my boxes!

The small one holds about 5 BGS cards. It wasnt made for baseball cards, I just stole it from my dad cause he wasn't using it and it was the perfect size.

The large one was built to fit 100 BGS slabs. Not sure how many PSA slabs it will hold but you can do the math.

It CANNOT be made for $60. When you put 100 BGS slabs in there it gets very heavy so we had to use high quality hardware that cost about $70 alone. I took it to the Tri-Star show in Houston a few years ago and got offers of up to $300. The picture doesn't do it justice.

Also in case anyone wants to know: The wood is pecan.

Sorry, haven't been around much since the boards changed. Can't figure out how to get a decent sized image up here.

Well I didn't use anything to expensive. Plain pine for wood, and just some cheap(but strong) hardware. I wasn't really looking for beauty, but rather usability and they work great unless you have 1000's of slabs. Probably not great for big sellers, but for a personal pc they work great. Will be setting up again as soon as the snow goes away. I've been wanting to try a few different size and shapes to see what all can be done with them. I also bought some stuffto line the inside of them with a felt like material, but never got it done yet.

You should make yourself a high end one for your PC items. You'll be glad you did. I used Pecan for the wood and made sure to have a nice knot for the lid. Brass for the hardware. For the lining we used a pseudo felt that you actually "spray" on. It feels exactly like real felt but thinner, cheaper, and much easier to get into tough corners. I think total cost was about $120 for wood, hardware, finish, and lining.

I was actually gearing up to start building these last July, but when we found out we were going to have a baby everything else kinda got kicked back. Now the baby just arrived and will be getting back in this soon. I have almost all my equipment so it wont be long until I start full production. I need to take some pics of my personal ones and show them off.
