Doc says it's not broke, but it got my unilateral nerve? I think that's what they call it. How you ask? Put a very heavy leather couch and a narrow doorway together, and sometimes you end up with this.

Nah, I didn't lose a finger. It's still there, just hidden under all the bandages. I mess up the nerve in my wrist. Can't even zip my fly with that hand.

I broke my wrist when I was 12 and my cast was all the way up to my bicep. I also had to have a steel plate inserted. the plate was removed the following summer and I still have it around here somewhere.

Wideright: That's why I'm wearing sweatpants now, lol. Doc says I should keep it on for 2 weeks. Fat chance of that. I have to work to live, and to be happy actually. (wierd I know) but I only get to work now and then for my landlord doing a variety of things. Just won't be able to carry much for awhile, and he says that right now, there's no work planned for a couple of weeks. So I may just get by without working for awhile. And if I do, I just can't let my daughter find out, cause she will rip me new one, or break it so I can't work, lol.

Ouch, sorry to hear that! If it's any consolation I had my "1st Installment" of a Root Canal today (he had to keep giving me the deadening shots because I kept feeling the drill)- OW :lol: One side of my face is Gerbellfied! :lol: Get well soon bud!

Sorry to hear/see that Art. I'll be praying for your speedy recovery. I almost cut off the tip of the middle finger on my right hand a few years ago. With all the bandaging, I couldn't really use my right hand. I understand how hard it is to be down to one hand.
