It wouldn't kill them to keep Davis around for a little, but Randolph is the biggest loser I've ever seen in pro sports. Everywhere he goes, the organization falls apart.Tomlinson21RB said:KandKCards said:Keep Griffin, Gordon and Thornton. Everyone else has to hit the road.
Can they even move Davis or Randolph? Don't they both have years left on big contracts?
The issue isn't what they get in return, it's finding a team that would rather have them over a couple nets for the hoops. Most teams are already in financial trouble, and with the cap actually going backwards this year I don't see many teams willing to take on a max contract of a player that is actually going to help the team. Davis is injury prone and didn't do anything special last season, and Randolph has his own baggage. I would be EXTREMELY surprised for anyone to take on those contracts even if it cost them a handshake to get them.
