His rookie was 1975, and that was the year they had minis, not 1974.

The 77 is probably to coolest looking Yount card from that era, but highly sought after is a stretch.

A friend of mine owns an auction house and his latest one ended tonight. Included was a BBCE certified 1977 Topps box, 36 packs, brought in $2348 inc buyers premium. That's $65/pack.

That is all about the potential 10. Unopened buyers are a different breed. I've watched some brutal pack rips on some of the other sites, but that big pull helps balance the pain of a bad rip I suppose.
