I recently returned to card collecting, and decided to chase only a few local guys: Tyrell Sutton and Chris Wells. I'd never been to a National, and checking it out in Cleveland was too convenient. Lots of vintage stuff (as expected) and not a ton of opened new stuff (unexpected). I failed to find any Wells Topps Bowman letter autos or the Score reprint auto, so I broke down and bought a single box of 2009 Topps jumbo from Atlanta Sports Cards.

Got this hit...I was happy I probably covered the cost of the box. Put it back in the pack and went to find a one-touch.

Imagine the surpise when I flipped it over after putting it in the case...

Not a bad day at all.

Oops. I realized this is probably a thread meant for the Breaks forum.

I guess I could also report that there were LOADS of the red/blue fake Topps Rookie Premiere autos that Gellman blogged about at various tables. At first I was going to say something to the turds, but there were at least 4 different vendors with them. I might be going back Sunday, maybe I should take some pictures.
