M101-2 Sporting News Supplement Question

I have question about this vintage card that I have no idea about. I was wondering what a good offer would be on this Doyle M101-2?

I assume the value of the card is less than the $100 but unsure by how much and I don't want to severly low ball offer the card.

Around $40-$50 would be a decent buy. Nice eye appeal except for the chip on the corner.
