exactly, we get you dont like kos sam but come on now....and the faking after the knee was him just trying to get a point deducted, he wasnt going to quit...and to be quite honest if you dont want someone to fake that than DONT THROW A KNEE WHILE SOMEONE IS OBVIOUSLY ON THE GROUND

Sam,

Would you say the same thing about Brock if he was talking shat the last seconds of the fight?

...or is it just because you dont like Koscheck that he's a punk bitch who talks quit swearing

I can almost guarantee you'd laugh at what Brock says, but because Kos says it, it makes him a bitch?

Cant have it both ways there...

Come on, youre treating it like Kos is the only guy who's ever talked shat in the history of MMA

Daley is at fault here, not Koscheck.

Daley couldnt control himself and now he lost his UFC career, and more than likely fighting career.

Even during the early UFC days when Tito talked shat to everyone like the Shamrocks and Guy Metzger (remember "guy metzger is my bitch" t-shrt?), you didnt see after the bell sucker punches...epecially when Koscheck has his back turned to Daley and is walking away, when he runs up from behind and hits him

Daley is the punk bitch if anything because he couldnt even put away Koscheck and had to hit him after the bell

Koscheck is a very underrated figher. Peope dont give him alot of credit when he is one of the better Welterweight guys around

Of course GSP will beat him, but it doesnt mean Koscheck isnt good.

Not to mention, I suggest you read some of the pre-fight talk that Daley and Kos had on their blogs, and it might give youa better idea for why he was talking shat

Well, 1, I murdered Brock for 'riding' Herring before the fight was over. There's no room for that in the sport. The lassoing thing afterward, fine and dandy, it's just like Tito's gravedigger thing, or Chuck and Rampage running around like idiots, that' fine, you won, celebrate.

And 2, I laughed my ass off after the fight when Kos was trashing Canada, that was hilarious.

I'd be killing Forrest Griffin or anyone else who pulled this **** two fights in a row in the exact same situation.

It looked to me that Daley thought Kos was going to pop up and the knee would be legal, and then at the last split second he realized Kos was still downed and he pulled off to the side a bit avoiding the contact, so on the knee aspect, he wasn't trying to knee a downed opponent, and he pulled off of it when he realized he was still downed, and Koscheck acted like it was a crushing blow. Just look at his reaction, he moves over to the side and the screams and grabs the front of his face.

If you guys want to condone cheating in MMA, by all means go right ahead and do so. But me, I'll stick to wanting the fighters to fight within the rules and hating on fighters who consistently try and do things in fights intentionally to screw other people over.

Yes, I do hate Kos, and I will continue to hate Kos, but I don't care who it is, if they do something in fights that are unacceptable then I drill them for it no matter if it's Brock, which I have, Anderson, which I have, or Forrest, which I have. Three fighters I love, they've all pulled questionable **** during or after fights and I've killed them for it, so don't say I am only saying this because I hate Kos. If it was Shogun being a complete bitch last night, I would be saying the exact same ****.

I want to watch guys go out there and fight honorably, which Kos hasn't his last two fights. Clearly.

Honestly, I believe honor means fighting clean: ie no biting, eye gouging, kicking in the balls, etc

Which Daley didnt do.

Koscheck just played into the moment and flopped.

I dont know whether this was part of his strategy to mess with Daley, or him just doing it because maybe he is a bitch and fights that way. I dont remember it happening in his last fight though...maybe I should rewatch it

I dont think he is a bitch personally...I think it was more to **** with Daley's head than anything

Flopping isnt illegal in MMA since there's no real determination on whether the guy is hurt or not in situations like this, but I wouldnt classify it as "dirty fighting" or "Classless fighting" or "cheating" since both guys benefited from the stoppage and no point was deducted

Kos fought as clean fight, with a questionable move that isnt illegal and resulted in nothing more than a stoppage and him making himself look dumb for getting caught.

If he does it a third time, then i'd say definitely the UFC should step in and do something

Gotta love Kos holding the wrong eye in that video.

Great ****.

Of you're going to try and act like you were illegally hit, at least make it believeable. The finger got Kos, but it got him in the right eye. And he holds his left eye.

Great acting.

Honorable fighter? Nope.

And I don't see how you can say Kos fought a clean fight when clearly he was trying to cheat by flopping. You can say flopping isn't aginast the rules, but come on. That's just technicality. He was trying to get a point deducted by lying. That's cheating in my book.

And if there wasn't a clear replay that showed he was lying, I believe he would have just taken the DQ and that would have been it.

But Rogan had the best line of the night.

"Josh Koscheck needs to look at this.......and get up."

Don't you think the other guys at ATT would be kind of ashamed of these instances from Koscheck? I would think so.

He's a good 'midcarder' and Fight Night headliner, but he'll never be a champion. He'll always get beat by the top tier guys.

He's lost to the only two real title contenders he's fought in GSP and Alves, and he beat Diego, but I wouldn't really call Diego a title contender being as he was made to look foolish against the champion and I feel he's kind of in the same vain as Koscheck.

He'll beat the likes of Lytle, Hazelette, Daley, Johnson, Trigg, and Goulet all day long, but when he fights someone like Paulo Thiago, he'll get KTFO because he can't employ his takedown LNP technique he likes so much.

I have to admit i didn't give Shogun a shot in this fight, although,i did think he won the 1st fight.I was surprised he took Machida out so fast! The winner of Evans/Jackson should be a decent fight for him.

I still believe that the Spider will beat him if they fight or whoever he fights at lhw,the spider will beat them.

well its a good think your book means ougatz.

Also, LOL at Koscheck being a midcarder or fight night headliner. Now your just bagging it in Sam.
The only reason he lost to Thiago is because he got too confident in his standup. He was absolutely hammering Thiago with punches before he got sloppy and standup isnt even his bread and butter. In a rematch Koscheck takes him down and dominates!
If Koscheck sticks to his game plan of wrestling and ground control, he remains in the top 5 at 170 for a long time.
Actually watch his takedowns for a second. They are beautiful. He just continues to explode right through them.

Also, name the ONLY guy who has won a single round against GSP in GSPs last 7 fights.

Thats right, its Koscheck.

And as a Canadian, I loved how he trashed Montreal on Saturday night.

Off topic, but I think Shogun beats Silva if they ever fight. Shogun looks like 2005 Shogun again.

That is so damn cool!

And for the record, Logan Stanton neds to get her damn job back. Her and another ring girl were fired for bashing Koscheck for faking being clocked by the 'illegal knee' after the Rumble fight. Well, after the Daley fight, I think it's proven that she is correct and it's a trend with Kos and she didn't deserve to be fired for criticizing one of the fighters for being a bitch.

Thanks. He was great but hes nursing a knee injury and stayed sitting the entire time. Great guy though.

I disagree with the ring girls. What they need to do is keep their damn mouths shut. They are company employees and need to have their face on even if its just for show.
If a reporter asks you what you think happened, just say the fights were great, the UFC fighters are the best athletes and its hard for you to say since you werent the one fighting. Thats it.
The problem is that EVERYONE thinks they are entitled to voice their opinion. Well the ring girls are even more replaceable than the fighter. Every weekend 5000 girls hotter than them are comign into vegas to party.
So they need to endorse the company and the product, and thats it!

I have to respectfully disagree with that. The ring girls are Zuffa employees just like the fighters, announcers, and everyone else under the banner. And we have fighters going around all the time criticizing others in the company and nothing happening to them.

So I think it's pretty hypocritical to fire a ring girl for calling a spade a spade.

Frank Mir said he wanted to murder someone in the octagon during a fight and that made national news, yet he's still employeed.

I didn't even find out about this Logan thing until yesterday, and I think it's complete garbage that Dana will throw her under the bus like that, while backtracking on his 'Daley is banned from the UFC for life' comment saying someday down the road he might be back'.

But that is the world of Dana White, saying and doing whatever you feel like at the spur of the moment just because you can.

It's really not a big deal, but some consistency would be nice.

Dana fires Semtex yet Nate Diaz is still employeed for participation in a national televised brawl? That doesn't make much sense. His ass should have been **** canned too if Daley is getting the boot.

Dana killing Strikeforce for signing Herschel Walker yet he let's the likes of Kimbo Slice and James Toney into the UFC? So much for no sideshows.

Just consistency is all I'm asking for.

But that's probably too much.

And while I'm bitching, bring the Yellow Card to the UFC so we can do SOMETHING to these fighters who want to be idiots in the middle of fights ala Anderson Silva and Josh Koscheck.

The difference is that a) the fighters are the product and b) can always be chalked up to hype etc.

Agree but his org, his rules

It's really not a big deal, but some consistency would be nice.

Again agree but should Forrest Griffin be cut after 2-3 loses? No but guys like Trigg etc are. At the end of the day its a business.

Again I agree and thats why I do my best to support a legit org liek Strikeforce by buying the PPVs. if Bellator had the same thing here in Canada I would support them as well.

100% agree here. In fact I would like to see a lot of Prides traditions brought into the UFC. Add ramps as well :)

BTW Ninja wasnt there last night. Shogun said hes fighting in Nashville soon so he had to get back to training!
